The American inventor Sean West has developed a battery that can be charged up to 100% in just 26 seconds.
The battery uses lithium-ion capacitors with a rated voltage of 3.8 volts to store electricity, but it has one problem: it discharges too quickly. Sean managed to solve this problem. According to him, the battery can hold a charge for а long period of time and will not lose its capacity even if it has been charged many times.
For the project West already collects money on Kickstarter. He needs 10 thousand dollars, and already has managed to collect more than $ 15 000. The estimated cost of AA batteries, including those with a special charger will be $ 25.
If all, that West claims, is true, this battery is really impressive. In addition, Sean West promises to make such battery in the future for the mobile devices, which means that the smartphone will be charged in less than a minute.
