In the colonies of ants are developed individuals that form the living place. This is the conclusion made by researchers from the University of Arizona, studying the forms of existence of ants in natural and laboratory conditions, says the BBC.
The researchers studying ants, have found that colonies formed in a colder climate, are inhabited by more aggressive ants, that make risky actions while searching food. These ants also tend to respond more rapidly to external threats.
In connection with this study, the researchers suggest that these more enterprising individuals are formed in a harsh climate.
